- The most essential part of a lightened life is meaning and purpose.
Why You Need to Lighten Up
Your life light is your life energy. It’s the vibe you give out to the world as you go about your life, like an aura that even the people around you can pick up on when they’re with you.
The brighter your life light, the stronger the force of positive and balanced energy inside you, and that force affects every part of your life.
So a lighted life is one where you’re living in a state of thriving productivity and inner peace, you have an abundance mindset, and you’re focused and positive in your thinking.
When your life’s lighted, your relationships with the people you love and care about are harmonious.
Your health and state of mind are exceptional. The resources around you are more than enough for you to live very comfortably.
But the essential part of a lighted life is meaning and purpose. Forget the obvious, the money, the body, and the love we all desire.
Meaning and purpose are more profound, they come from your soul and deep inside your mind, and are the source of your happiness and the contribution you can make to the world around you.

How Do You Keep Your Life Light On?
This is a common question I used to hear in my practice. In the modern world, people want instant gratification and to get what they want without having to work for it.
But success in anything takes persistence and time (I know that sounds boring, but it’s true).
So to keep your life lightened means to stay focused on your purpose while making tangible progress towards attaining it.
Suppose you feel like your life’s taken a dip, or it’s time to take yourself to the next level.
In that case, the following ideas, when applied, can have miraculous results once you start using them.

10 Ways to Lighten Up Your Life…
Stop Making Excuses and Start Making Progress! Learn How HERE
1. Attain Peace Within
Inner peace should be everyone’s top priority, and people will define inner peace in different ways.
It’s paramount to go after the life that gives you the feeling of inner peace instead of what other people and advertisers tell you will provide you with inner peace. Follow your own path, not theirs.
Detoxify means taking stock of your life and deciding what you’re doing that you shouldn’t be doing and what you aren’t doing that you should be doing more of.
Everyone has behaviors or thoughts that they know aren’t good for them.
The first thing is to understand what they are; then you can start making the necessary changes to your life.
3. Be Less Serious
Apart from being boring, overly serious people miss out on the joy of spontaneity and variety and having a joke and a laugh.
The seriousness comes from having strict standards about how things ‘should’ be. For whatever reason, the reality isn’t matching up with those expectations.
When you find yourself being too serious in a queue or in a frustrating situation, remind yourself out loud to stop taking yourself so seriously.
“If you can stay positive in a negative situation, you win” – Joe Rogan
4. Practice Self-Clarity
Self-clarity is just that – clarity about yourself. People rarely have self-clarity without experiencing turmoil or undergoing rigorous self-examination.
When you have clarity about your life, you start discarding thoughts and behaviors that no longer work for you. You release the baggage that was weighing you down, and your light shines bright.
5. Have an Adventure
Life can become too monotonous without adventure and spontaneity. Think about what you consider to be adventurous, and that you find interesting.
When you know, go and do it and enjoy the experience. Being adventurous is an attitude and a lifestyle. It doesn’t mean being reckless. It means having an open mind and just going for it.
6. Love Someone Special
Think of your feelings for your children, the special people in your life, and even your dog. That’s the feeling of love that enriches your life.
If you’ve ever experienced lonely times, you’ll appreciate how important it is to have love in your life. When you radiate love, your life light shines even brighter.
“You can have it all. Just not all at once” – Oprah Winfrey
7. Be Nice
Being nice sounds so obvious, but it’s pretty rare to see people being genuinely nice these days. In this sense, the term ‘nice’ means the little things you can do each day to improve how you feel about your life.
Offering to help someone out or giving a genuine compliment or a piece of advice all have the power to compound into something special over time.
8. Escape Your Environment
Monotony and familiarity can cause problems in your life if left untreated for too long.
When you spend too much time in the same place doing the same old things, you start thinking that’s life. But it isn’t.
It’s just one of a million possibilities of what your life could be.
When you get out of your environment, you get a taste of what else is out there, and you also appreciate what you have more when you return.
9. Positive Energy
You don’t have to be a physicist to know that the universe’s fundamental building blocks are energy particles so small you can’t see them.
Imagine how vital energy is for you, your mind, body, and soul if energy is what makes the universe create life on earth. Positive energy stems from your thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and habits.
10. Exciting Plans
We all need something to look forward to. How boring would life be if we didn’t? What is something that excites you and makes you look forward to the future?
If you know what it is, they keep doing it and keep going for it. If you haven’t, it’s time to take some time to be alone and ask yourself three questions;
- What type of person do I want to be?
- What kind of life do I want to live?
- What people and resources do I need to be that person and live that life?
When you can answer these questions without thinking, you have meaning and purpose. Your inner world will light up and manifest itself in the outside world with an optimistic outlook and a prosperous and peaceful life.
“What you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination” – Earl Nightingale
